I can use the internet to support my teaching by creating opportunities for students to use technology in my class. They will be able to chat, blog, and research for different assignments. Using technology will engage my students and hopefully keep them interested in learning because they can express themselves in numerous ways.
I think that students should take a copyright quiz at the beginning of the semester, and we should go over appropriate and inappropriate use. Once they pass the quiz, they will be able to turn in assignments. Also, I would provide them a rubric so that they can make sure they check their usage.

How can projects help my students meet standards and develop 21st century skills, and how can I use projects to enhance student learning?
Projects can help my students to meet standards because it eliminates the dreaded classroom boredom issue. It appears that 80% of students are bored in classrooms across America. Incorporating projects into the curriculum will make student's more interested in learning.
I can use projects to help bring real-world experiences to my students. They will be involved in research, critical thinking, and other content related activities. I think this will make the classroom more democratic where students will have so autonomy in their learning.
